The Branson Story

The Kukje Machinery Company, LTD., (in South Korea) is a certified ISO 9001 company that has been manufacturing agricultural equipment since 1968 for companies like John Deere and Yanmar.

By the mid nineteen-nineties, Kukje Machinery Company was manufacturing so many parts for other quality tractor companies that they decided to start their own line of tractors. Branson (a U.S. company) brought in industry experts from all over the world to help them design a tractor of high quality, strength and durability at a price that users could appreciate. News of Branson tractor quality spread quickly. In 2002, Cummins, Inc. approached Branson to purchase the rights to use Branson's 28-60 HP Diesel Engines and market them as their A-Series Diesel engines. Branson agreed to be the Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) for Cummins A-Series Diesel engines and for the past several years, Branson has manufactured their high quality engines for not just Branson Tractors but Cummins, Inc. as well.

Components are shipped to (United States) to Branson Tractor assembly plants in Georgia and California to insure their tractors are built the American way. Branson offers a complete line of readily available parts to serve every line of Branson tractors. However, should you find yourself in need of engine parts and outside a Branson dealership territory, you can contact any Cummins Diesel shop to get the parts you need.

Kukje also noted that Cummins brings a wealth of diesel technology and manufacturing expertise to support Kukje's long-term strategies for growth of its agricultural business worldwide.

Cummins has also announced that it will meet Tier 3 off-road emissions standards with its current engine platforms, without the addition of after treatment devices or other hardware. The new engines will be available prior to the 2005 standard.

Testimonials

A savvy buyer will compare tractors, not just based on horsepower ratings and price but which will fit his or her intended usage based on tractor weight, reliability, peak engine torque RPM, ease of operation, and without question, the reliability and integrity of the dealer.

If you are comparing apples to apples, that is HP vs HP, check the weights of the tractors, then features and finally the price. Branson makes the big 3 look like sand box toys. Branson is only one of 3 tractor brands imported to the US that builds the entire tractor, including the motor, and distributes it themselves. Branson goes above and beyond to take care of their customers. Just ask around and pick a good Branson dealer.
------------------------------------
I have zero concerns about obtaining parts. Branson tractors are selling extremely strong and the parent company Kukje is as solid as a rock with contracts from John Deere and Cummins. I am extremely pleased with my tractor and if I had it to do all over again, would buy exactly the same machine. Number of mechanical problems since I bought my tractor - ZERO. After using it for a while, I know a lesser machine would not have suited my purpose.
